Have you been wondering what Aspen Mountain Medical Center looks like on the inside?
The newest hospital in the area, Aspen Mountain Medical Center, is hosting an open house from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 2 at their location at 4401 College Drive in Rock Springs.
The community of Sweetwater County and the surrounding communities are invited to attend the free open house to meet the physician owners and administrators, take a tour of the center and enjoy complimentary food and drink.
“We’re here to serve the needs of this community and those surrounding it. To do that we wish to become better acquainted with the very people we’re here to care for,” Steve Perry, CEO, said in a release from the center. “This open house is our opportunity to introduce ourselves and let people make themselves comfortable in this new state-of-the-art healthcare facility.”
Perry said in an interview that the owners, physicians, staff and administrators are looking forward to showing the community what Aspen Mountain Medical Center (AMMC) has to offer.
During the open house, people will have the opportunity to take tours and see areas that they may not be able to see otherwise—such as the state-of-the art operating rooms.
“We’ll take them down to surgery. Once the tours are over with, then the surgery areas will be sterilized and there will be that ‘red line’ that you can’t cross anymore to keep it sterile,” said Perry.
The open house precedes the anticipated grand opening in April. While the exact opening date is not yet known, Perry said the hospital hopes to open April 4, 2016. He said April 11, 2016 is the latest date anticipated for the hospital to open for patients.
