3, 7, 15, 22, 45. Those numbers changed someone’s life yesterday, winning them the largest Cowboy Draw jackpot in the game’s history.300x250_RMB

A whopping $1,881,328 winning ticket was sold at the Flying J in Cheyenne on January 26th and was purchased for multiple draws.

Whoever won the jackpot will walk away with over $1 million even if they are in the highest tax bracket.

Wyoming Lottery CEO Jon Clontz says Wyoming allows for the winner to remain anonymous if they want, something that many state lotteries don’t allow.

“Ninety percent of the time they elect to remain anonymous, and I think we all understand why,” said Clontz.

If the winner does allow the lottery to release their name, though, then the lottery will celebrate with the winner and use their information to help promote the lottery.

Even if you didn’t buy your ticket at the Flying J in Cheyenne, Clontz says that doesn’t mean you’re not a winner.

“Every week we probably have between twenty-five and forty winners of a thousand bucks, not to mention all the smaller prizes. So, we’ve given hundreds of thousands away just in those one-thousand dollar winners,” said Clontz.

Monday’s drawing resulted in over $80,000 worth of winnings in other tiers, so it’s worth checking the ticket.

The next drawing for Cowboy Draw is at 2 p.m. on Thursday.
