ROCK SPRINGS – Western Wyoming Community College will host the Southwest Regional Science Fair on Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2016, according to a release from WWCC.
The event will be held from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. in Rushmore Gymnasium. Students from across southwest Wyoming are encouraged to show off their science smarts by designing and carrying out innovative science projects, and then presenting their methodologies and results at Western on Feb. 23.
Competitors will be divided into two divisions: the Junior Division, for students in grades six through eight, and the Senior Division, for students in grades nine through 12.
The Southwest Regional Science Fair welcomes the community to drop by and check out the student projects on display at Western on Feb. 23. Judging will take place from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m., and the awards ceremony will take place at 3 p.m. in Rushmore Gymnasium.
