The victim of Monday night’s stabbing death in Rock Springs has been identified as 20-year-old Toboris Lee, of Batesville, Mississippi.
The Rock Springs Police Department is still seeking witnesses and information on Monday night’s incident in the parking lot of the Foothill Loaf N Jug. According to an RSPD release, officers of the Rock Springs Police Department and Deputies of the Sweetwater County Sheriff’s Office were called to the Loaf N Jug at 2558 Foothill Boulevard at around 9:30 p.m. Monday night on a call of a disturbance.
Officers arrived within minutes and found that a man, later identified as Lee, had suffered multiple stab wounds in the parking lot. Lee was taken to Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County where he died from his injuries.
After a joint investigation, Charles Kenzell Carter, 27 from Fayetteville, North Carolina, was arrested for suspected Murder in the First Degree.
Both Lee and Carter were identifies as traveling salesmen.
Carter is expected to make his initial appearance in Sweetwater County Circuit Court today.
