Undercover Vice Operation Leads To Meth and Prostitution Arrests

Valerio-EichlerTwo people were arrested on Thursday evening after an undercover vice investigation led police to a property manager who was allegedly supplying methamphetamine to some his tenants.

According to a release from the Sweetwater County Sheriff’s Office, detectives from the Sheriff’s Narcotics and Arrest Group, a specialized unit of county detectives dedicated to drug and fugitive apprehension cases, carried out the operation at an apartment complex in Rock Springs and were looking into a suspected prostitution operation.

As a result of the operation, Deryle Dean Valerio, 57 of Rock Springs, was arrested for alleged Unlawful Delivery of a Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine.

Christina Marie Eichler, 40 of Utah, was arrested for alleged Prostitution.

In Wyoming, Unlawful Delivery of a Controlled Substance carries a maximum possible penalty of imprisonment for not more than 20 years, a $25,000 fine, or both. Prostitution is a misdemeanor punishable by imprisonment for not more than 6 months, a $750 fine, or both.

In the release, Sheriff Mike Lowell credited a cooperative effort among the Sheriff’s Office, Rock Springs Police Department, Wyoming’s Division of Criminal Investigation and tips from the public for the arrests, and he thanked the community for continued support.
