Five area football players will be playing this Saturday in the 2016 Wyoming Shrine Bowl in Casper. The Rock Springs Tigers will be represented by Collin Chivers and Carter Rosette while Brendan Hopkins, Gage Hunt and Tyler Vendetti will represent the Green River Wolves. All five will play for the South team which also has players
from Big Piney, Cheyenne Central, Cheyenne East, Cheyenne South, Douglas, Evanston, Glenrock, Lingle-Fort Laramie, Pine Bluffs, Pinedale, Rawlins, Star Valley, Torrington, and Wheatland.
The North squad is made up of players from Big Horn, Buffalo, Cody, Gillette, Greybull, Jackson, Casper Kelly Walsh and Natrona, Lovell, Meeteetse, Powell, Riverton, Sheridan, Shoshoni, Thermopolis, Tongue River, Upton and Worland.
Players were selected by head coaches of each high school football team in Wyoming. Game time is 2pm at Casper Natrona High School.
