The Southwest Chapter of the Muley Fanatics Foundation has donated 10 Mossberg inert firearms to the Green River region of the Wyoming Game and Fish Department to be used in their hunter education classes.
The training guns are inert, which means they cannot fire ammunition, and each set represents the five firearms actions-bolt, lever, pump, semi-auto and break action. Handling firearms is a large portion of the hunter education curriculum. Muley Fanatic members have been very active and involved in teaching Wyoming hunter education classes. Local project committee members presented the inert firearms to Green River Wildlife Supervisor Steve DeCecco.
