Cody Landwehr, 24, was injured Friday night when his motorcycle was struck by a pickup at the intersection of Yellowstone Road and Clubhouse Road, according to information provided by the Sweetwater County Sheriff’s Office.

Landwehr was airlifted to University of Utah Medical Center in Salt Lake for treatment of severe injuries to his right leg.

On Monday, his family said that he is in stable condition and “doing as well as can be expected.”

According to the Sheriff’s Office, Landwehr was riding north on Yellowstone Road on his 2007 Honda motorcycle at about 7 p.m. on Friday when he was struck by a 2000 GMC pickup that was traveling west on Clubhouse Road.

The pickup was driven by a juvenile male, and Sheriff Lowell declined to release the driver’s name.

The driver of the pickup was cited for failure to yield right of way upon entering an intersection.
