Original: The Rock Springs Police Department has issued a No Unnecessary Travel Advisory for Rock Springs due to rain and flooding in low lying areas.
RSPD is suggesting that business owners in areas where water is accumulating shut down early for emergency precaution.
As of 8:40 p.m., RSPD says no crashes or injuries have resulted due to weather.
Residents are urged to take caution and stay off the roads unless it is absolutely necessary.
