Two people were arrested Thursday after felony amounts of methamphetamine and other drug paraphernalia were allegedly found during the execution of a search warrant.
A Search and Seizure Warrant was conducted at 50 Reliance Road #66 as part of a multi-agency drug suppression operation by detectives from the Rock Springs Police Street Crimes Unit (SCU), the Sweetwater Sheriff’s Office Sheriff’s Narcotics and Arrest Group (SNAAG), and Special Agents of the Wyoming Department of Criminal Investigation (DCI).
During the search, smoking devices for marijuana and methamphetamine and a baggie with felony amounts of methamphetamine were allegedly found.
Stephen Workman, 56 of Rock Springs, was arrested for felony Possession of a Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine, Possession of a Controlled Substance-Marijuana, and Use of a Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine.
Patricia Candelaria, 50 of Rock Springs, was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine and Marijuana, and Use of a Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine.
As of press time, Workman was still being held at the Sweetwater County Detention Facility on a $75,000 bond, according to JailTracker. He is scheduled to appear in court April 5, 2016 at 3:30 p.m.
Also according to JailTracker, Candelaria was released from the Sweetwater County Detention Facility on April 1, 2016.
