One man is dead and another has been arrested for suspected First Degree Murder after an incident in the Loaf N Jug parking lot at 2558 Foothill Boulevard.
According to Public Information Officer Alison Deters with the Rock Springs Police Department, Officers of the Rock Springs Police Department and Deputies of the Sweetwater County Sheriff’s Office were called to the Loaf N Jug At around 9:30 p.m. Monday night on a call of a disturbance.
Officers arrived within minutes and found that a man had suffered multiple stab wounds in the parking lot. The injured man was taken to Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County where he died from his injuries.
After a joint investigation, Charles Kenzell Carter, 27 from Fayetteville, North Carolina, was arrested for suspected Murder in the First Degree.
The name of the victim is currently being withheld pending family notifications.
Deters said both men were identifies as traveling salesmen.
