Learn how to add flavor to your meals by attending the Spice it Up! program at Rock Springs Library.
The program will be at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, April 21 at the library located at 400 C Street in Rock Springs.
Seth Radke, horticulture assistant with the University of Wyoming Extension, will be teaching the class.
“We will learn about the advantages of using fresh herbs and the methods of cultivating them indoors and out of doors,” Radke said about the class.
Radke said that fresh herbs are a fun and inexpensive way to add flavor and interest to any meal.
“With proper care, most herbs can be grown as annuals in Sweetwater County,” he said. “The hardiest of herbs, such as thyme and oregano, can be grown as perennials.”
Those in attendance should expect “a fun discussion on how to add a little green and a little flavor to every season,” Radke said.
This class is sponsored by the Sweetwater County Library System and the University of Wyoming Extension.
