Four people were arrested for drug related charges on Friday after police executed a search warrant at a local hotel.
Juan Parra Pena, 50, Lonn Boyd Porter, 51, Tara Lloy Pyper, 44, and one juvenile, all of Rock Springs, were arrested after police found drugs in a hotel room at the Days Inn at 1545 Elk Street, according to a release from Rock Springs Police.
Detectives from the Rock Springs Police Street Crimes Unit, supported by officers from the Rock Springs Police Department, executed a search warrant at a hotel room at the Days Inn after information was developed that illegal drug activity may be taking place there.
Pena, Porter, Pyper, and the juvenile were located in the room when police executed the search, according to the release.
During the search and investigation, methamphetamine and marijuana were allegedly found in the room.
Pena was arrested for misdemeanor Possession of a Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine. Porter was arrested for felony Delivery of a Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine, and felony Possession of a Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine. Pyper was arrested for misdemeanor Possession of a Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine and Marijuana.
A juvenile was also arrested at the scene on related controlled substance charges. The juvenile’s name and booking photo will not be released.
