Four people arrested on narcotics charges after a search warrant was executed last Friday on Century Boulevard, according to a Rock Springs Police Department release.
Detectives with the Rock Springs Police Department Street Crimes Unit conducted a welfare check on March 18 after receiving information about a woman using methamphetamine around her child.
During the course of the investigation, a male subject identified as 35-year-old Joshua Woodell was observed leaving the residence and was known to have an active warrant for his arrest. Woodell was placed under arrest for the warrant.
Through their investigation, Street Crimes Detectives were able to obtain and execute a search warrant for 2185 Century Boulevard #3. Contact was made with 35-year-old Heather Louise Theroux and the search of the residence pursuant to the search warrant was conducted.
During the search, several narcotics related items along with misdemeanor amounts of Methamphetamine were allegedly located inside the residence. Theroux was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine, Use of Methamphetamine and Child Endangerment while the child inside of the residence was placed in protective custody.
Investigation yielded felony amounts of methamphetamine along with misdemeanor amounts of marijuana. Two women were arrested including 37-year-old Vunessa Salazar of Las Vegas, Nevada who was arrested for felony Possession of Methamphetamine, Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Child Endangerment, Possession of Marijuana and Use of a Controlled Substance. Also arrested was 46-year-old Jamey Weickum of Rock Springs, who was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine, Use of a Controlled Substance and Child Endangerment.
