During this Sunday’s Colorado Rockies telecast on ROOT SPORTS, Wyoming head football coach Craig Bohl will make an appearance in the television booth. The Rockies host the Arizona Diamondbacks in a game that is scheduled for first pitch at 2:10 p.m., Mountain Time.
Bohl will be on with the ROOT SPORTS’ announce team during the top of the third inning to talk Cowboy Football.
ROOT SPORTS and the University of Wyoming have enjoyed a strong partnership over the past several years, including numerous telecasts of Wyoming Football games. The past two years, ROOT SPORTS has partnered with the University of Wyoming on “Inside Wyoming Football with Craig Bohl”, a weekly half-hour show about Cowboy Football that aired on Thursday evenings during the college football season. That partnership is planned to continue again this coming season.
Bohl is entering his third year as head football coach at Wyoming after leading North Dakota State to three consecutive Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) National Championships in 2011, ‘12 and ‘13. He was also an assistant coach at his alma mater, Nebraska, when the Huskers captured the 1995 and 1997 National Championships.
Bohl became the first coach in the 27-year history of the Eddie Robinson National Coach of the Year award to win it in back-to-back years (2012 and ’13).
