Cliff Creek Fire Over 10,000 Acres

The Cliff Creek Fire north of Bondurant has grown to over 10,000 acres with little containment.EZ_Cash

The blaze, which was first reported Sunday afternoon approximately five miles north of Bundurant, Wyo., has grown to an estimated 10,118 acres. Approximately five percent of the perimeter is contained with 596 personnel fighting the fire.

At this time, evacuations for Bondurant have been lifted, and those homeowners can return to their homes.

The Red Cross has set up an evacuation center at the Pinedale High School Wrangler Gym in Pinedale for those who have been evacuated due to the fire.

U.S. Highway 189/191 remains closed between Daniel Junction and Hoback Junction and will remain closed until further notice.

Public meetings are scheduled for 6 p.m. July 21st at Hoback Fire Station #3, and 6 p.m. July 22nd at the Pinedale Administration Building (Old Elementary School).
