The Bureau of Land Management Kemmerer Field Office is seeking public comment on a proposed amendment to the Kemmerer Resource Management Plan to allow for the disposal of a parcel of public land in Lincoln County, Wyoming.

The proposed RMP amendment would identify and allow for the direct sale of a 2.8 acre parcel of public land to Teichert Brothers, LLC.  This parcel is an isolated tract of land, surrounded by lands owned by Teichert Brothers, LLC.  The parcel has no public access, making it difficult and uneconomical to manage.

Mail or deliver written comments to Field Manager, Kemmerer Field Office, 430 North Highway 189, Kemmerer, WY 83101; or email comments to [email protected] with “Kemmerer RMP Amendment” in the subject line. Comments must be received by 4:30 p.m., August 15, 2016, or 30 days after the last public meeting, whichever is later.
