Rock Springs Main Street/URA Announces June Volunteer of the Month

FrancineParksThe Organization Committee of the Rock Springs Main Street/URA is pleased to announce their June Volunteer of the Month – Francine Parks.  Francine spent over eight hours planting flowers in Downtown Rock Springs earlier in June. First Choice Buick GMC

A Rock Springs native, Francine is married with one grown child.  She’s a graduate of Rock Springs High School and Western Wyoming Community College with a paralegal degree.  She recently retired after 27 years as a paralegal.  Francine was looking for volunteer opportunities and loves to garden and spend time outdoors.  As such, when she saw the call for help to plant flowers, it was the perfect job for her.

The Rock Springs Main Street/URA is charged with the redevelopment of Downtown Rock Springs.  As part of their mission, there are four standing committees – Economic Restructuring, Organization, Promotions and Design.  The Organization Committee plays a key role in keeping the Board, Committees, staff and programs of work in good shape by attracting people and funds for the organization.  For more information contact the Rock Springs Main Street/URA at 307-352-1434 or visit their website at DowntownRS.com.
