A new Sheriff is taking over in Sublette County.
KC Lehr was sworn in as the Sublette County Sheriff by District Court Judge Marvin Tyler at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday morning in the District Court room.
Other elected officials and community members were in attendance.
Sheriff Lehr will serve the remaining term of Sheriff until 2019.
He was appointed last night in a special meeting held by the Sublette County Commissioners. Sheriff Lehr was selected from three candidates presented from the Republican Party.
