A Union Pacific train partially derailed at a location about eight miles west of Green River.
The train derailed as the track passes under Interstate 80 at about mile marker 82.5.
Officials say there are no known injuries at this time, and the cause of the derailment is still under investigation.
The train was travelling westbound carrying box-type containers, none of which contained hazardous materials. Several of the cars at the end of the trail partially derailed.
The derailment was reported at about 6 p.m.
