The results are in, and southwest Wyoming has a strong showing in the top 10. Although, it’s not necessarily a list you want to top.
The folks at RoadSnacks.net recently released a list of the 10 dumbest cities in Wyoming. The group analyzed Wyoming cities with a population greater than 2000, leaving only 22 cities to rank. They looked at the percentage of each city’s population with less than a high school education (ages 25 and over) and the percentage of high school dropouts ages 16-19.
After analyzing the data, Evanston took the title of Wyoming’s dumbest city.
Also in southwest Wyoming, Rock Springs came in at number 6. Green River did not make the top 10, coming in 15th out of the 22 cities analyzed.
RoadSnacks admitted formal education isn’t the only thing that contributes to intelligence, which hopefully brings some solace to the residents of the cities making the list.
